"Carhidkits.com will not return our money, nor will they replace the parts. Carhidkits.com wants us to completely uninstall the kit, box everything up, pay to ship to them so they can perform their own tests. Can you tell I'm Bitter?"

Why are you unwilling to let them perform their own tests? Usually with electrical parts there is a good chance of "operator error" destroying the part, hence the lack of a normal warranty. If you are unwilling to "completely uninstall the kit" (2 bulbs, 2 ballasts, 1 relay, what 5 minutes worth of labor?) there has to be more to this story.

just to let you know. its very easy to mess up while setting up your hids. just one small thing not done right wont get full power to both lights. this sounds like you just didnt hook it up correctly from the beginning and ended up frying a wire. happens all the time to people who dont know what they are doing.

I hear what everyone is saying. There was nothing to mess up on this kit installation as it was all plug and play. The frustration is in removing the entire kit, packaging it back, shipping it out and waiting for the company to report on their findings. It is more than a 5 minute exercise. This was a gift to our son and the disappointment of sales promises caused my bitter disposition to the company.
