Default HID............?

i dont know much about HIDs but cherokee lights are horrible! sooo what do i have to do? how much do i spend? what kits are good, were do i get it(maybe a link or two) and i also need instructions on the installation....basically, i got no clue! help me!

There was a thread here a couple weeks ago about how the small wire gauge feeding the headlights affects the brightness. You might want to test the voltage at the headlight socket with the lights on. It should be close to battery voltage.

how old are the bulbs in it now? they get dim over time, 5 plus years. go buy a pair of sylvania silverstars or the ultras,about 40 bucks to 50 bucks a pair,sometimes cheaper at walmart. are your housings nice and clear? or faded and yellowish? thats what the bulb goes into.
