hi milage XJ rear seal leak?
Need some advice from more experienced XJ owners:
A 2000 XJ with 187K Miles, 4.0 6 Cyl. Auto transmission, 4WD
The engine has a rear seal leak. I intend to replace the rear seal as the vehicle is in good shape and been totally reliable.
While the oil pan is down, should I replace Main and or rod bearings, oil pump or any thing else?
Thanks for the comments.

I replaced my rear main seal and oil pan gasket at 185K. I am at 240K, now, and all is well!!
Inspect your oil pump and pick up tube while the oil pan is off. If it all looks good and you've had good oil pressure just clean it up and put it all back togther.

While you have the pan dropped, give everything a good visual inspection.
Hey, doesn't hurt. Well, unless you find something, but then that hurt is minor.
