Default Hey guys new to jeep few q's

alright im looking into buying a jeep cherokee its what im set on. i want to lift it to do some offroading but still be a reliable dd. i love the stance that a 4.5 ough country lift on 33's or 32's looks. i my questions are more about the
the tires. where is a good website to buyh them? i love the look of a wide tire but i plan on using the stock wheels to conserve money, what is the widest tire i can run on a stock wheel and where/ how much. thanks guys for the help

Stock rims are 7" and the wider tires rub because there is insufficent backspacing. If you want 32" or 33" tires then you are going to need different rims. When looking at rims you need between 3.75" to 4" of backspacing. You can easily run the 33" tires with a 4.5" lift.
I think it is going to be hard to beat the prices at Sam's or Costco if you are a member at either place, for the tires. Look into Summit Racing for the rims.
Good luck and welcome to CF.

Some tire manufacturers offer some narrow width wide tires. But Blue is right... the widest stock rim is 7 inches.

But you can get black steel D-window wheels as cheap as $45 for an 8" wide wheel.

What are your plans for your rig?? That should go a LONG way to deciding your tire type, what looks cool should be the last consideration?

BFG offers the All-Terrian KO in a 33"x9.5". A bit of adjustment on the steering stops will fit this tire under your Jeep perfectly.

Sams has my favorite AT which of course is BFG A/T KOs. They have 31s and 33s at my local store. Not sure if that is what your store carries.
