I have a question so last weekend I took my transmission out and I won't be putting my new one in until this weekend anything you guys recommend replacing?? Any tips and tricks on putting the new one in would be awesome too!!

 

Anything in the cooling system you haven't replaced yet. And the oils pan and gaskets.

 

I've done the oil own gasket. What's recommend to replace in the cooling?

 

Not sure what you have done, but I did the radiator, tstat, coolant flush, and flush the heater core

 

No more than they cost I would install a new Tq. Converter, cheap insurance and you didn't stat the reason for replacing the trans so it could have trash still in it that hasn't gotten cleaned out. If the cost was higher I wouldn't suggest it but they are not worth taking a chance over IMHO.


Make sure that you have cleaned the trans cooler very well also, same reason trash in it so flush it several times.
