its a 96 4.0l h.o 5speed, bought it like this says it was a procomp 4 or 4.5 but i dunno. heres a couple pictures and a couple of the two rear tires on the back a blast from that past firestone all terrain tx, popular in the late 80's couldnt find one picture of them.

Going to be my project i got a new front bumper grill headlight housing, signals, for 90 bucks at a pick and pull, still need to get a new starter and steering wheel airbag popped.
its got cruise, a/c, have never really been into jeeps was into rangers. been out of the 4x4 scene for a few years now. :)
any info you can help with will be appreciated.

Oh and the tires in those pictures are 31"x10.50/15

xj wheeler 02-09-2012 02:42 PM

Probably right with the 4", but the rear seems like it might be sagging a little.

g9s5r 02-09-2012 02:44 PM

I was thinking the same thing, Then i was thinking about the fenders just being poorly chopped, if i look at the body lines they are abit higher on the back if looking at it level.

xj wheeler 02-09-2012 02:51 PM

Yeah, since the fenders are chopped i was going off the body line as well.

g9s5r 02-09-2012 02:54 PM

Well thanks :).. Trying to decide if i'm gonna go with 31"s 32's or 33's.
was also gonna pull a starter from junkyard but figure might just go with new, gonna get it fixed up and go like an army green

g9s5r 02-09-2012 02:55 PM

Yep it runs.. radiator seems to be ok, it has a slight bend in it but no leaks.

Lowrange2 02-09-2012 02:59 PM

Man, I wish they hadn't painted it. Teal is my fav o rite crayon.

stev-o 02-09-2012 03:03 PM

g9s5r 02-09-2012 04:59 PM

Nope seems to be holding fine, not on the road as of yet gotta get some new tires, and put the front togeather. Cant wait to take this thing out :)
