Default Helper springs

I used the search function on the forum for helper springs but couldn't really find anybody that used helper springs like these http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HEL-815/ They dont require you to take leaf's apart. i was wondering if this would be a good idea to get about 2 inch's in the back and along with a spacer in front?

I have a similar set on my Jeep right now (I'm getting new springs soon). They're alright. They lifted my sagging springs some (I dunno about 2"). They did help with body sway. I'm not sure about quality of materials, but those look like the ones from Advance Auto (minus the black paint) that go for like $30.00.

If you're looking for a temporary fix, they'd be good, but I'm sure most would recommend either a bastard pack or full leafs.

AFAIK you should replace the u-bolts whenever you do spring work, so why not just hack'em off. Right angle grinder, sawzall, torch. Pick your weapon.

When I pulled my u-bolts apart to change them, I heated the nuts and used the impact....came right off (and it's an ex-Canadian Jeep). But my first instinct was to cut them off.

If you do full leafs, yes...you'd have to deal with that. I'm actually gonna have a spring shop do that part. But bastard packs just require dropping the axle away from the spring and adding a leaf that way (from what I've read).
