Help with TPS volt reading
Hi, I just did a reading on my tps. At idle it was .43v and on open throttle it showed 2.63-2.65v. What does this mean? Is it toast? My only engine issues are rough idle.

Your TPS definitely sounds shot. 2.8V at WOT is FAR too little. The TPS' signal is read as a percentage of it supply voltage, being 5VDC. Output should be 0.2 to 0.5 when shut and 4.5-4.9 VDC when open.
Thats what I though, just to be sure: I am probing the connector with three wires, I understand that that is for the ECM. Also. My color coding does not add up. My + is supposed to be output and my output is supposed to be +, according to the test guide... Someone eliminated the connector at some point.
