So I'm going to do the plugs anyway just to see if that is my problem. If not, what would be your next guess?

All my next guesses were in my previous posts.

Sorry, I should have paid closer attention. I didn't see that you hijacked this thread.

Disregard all my chatter about coil rails and such. That was for the OP.

I didn't mean to hijack. The OP had a similar issue. I thought it better to ask here instead of ask the same question again.

So after a brand new coil pack switching back to copper core plugs and a brand new locking mopar gas cap and using the PCM reset suggested I put a little over 100 miles on her and no CEL. Thank you all for the suggestions and help. She's purring like a kitten again.

No harm bud, but it's always a good idea to start a new thread, especially if you have a different ignition system.

If you are having random misfires it could be your Camashaft Position Sensor (inside your distributor). Check the wiring to the CMP for chafing/exposed wires. If not defects are noted you may want to try a new CMP. Other than OEM (big $) NAPA sells a good one.

No guarantee it will fix your problem though. Your choice.
