Default Help with some mystery cords/wires

So I went to put my back seat back up today, and noticed some cables on the drivers side under the bench seat. I saw them in the past, but thought nothing of them, now I am curious. One is an antennae cable, not connected to anything. probably has 3ft zip tied together, then I have red/green/white wires running into a white connector, with a ground wire screwed into the floor. There is also an ethernet (I think) cable. all of them go into the trim along the floor, leading up front. I found another (possibly the other end) ethernet cord tucked under the center console plastic along the carpet, going right up next to the passenger seat, leading back towards the firewall. there was an audio cable with that too, but I did not see that with the group behind the drivers seat.

Sorry to be long winded, but was that maybe for some sort of CB setup? They fed to an odd spot I thought, being that it was under the seat and only had like 6" of stretch. I can get pics if needed, I am not very knowledgeable on this sort of stuff.

Edit: Also, what is the metal cylinder taped to a wire under my dash on the drivers side? Jeep hasn't been turned on in 3 hours, yet it was hot as hell.

assuming you got the jeep used, i'd almost guarantee it is an amp setup

The thing under the seat is best to be disconnected. Its for the amp that was in there and you don't need it. Just trace the wire back to that battery and disconnect it.

No wires attached to the battery, the ethernet connected something by the passengers seat to something under the right rear seat, and the antennae cable wouldn't be for an amp right? There was also that old audio jack cable or whatever...? I did a bit of looking around and it really looks like a setup for an old car phone. I replaced the radio a year ago, and there were no extra wires that i could see. could still be for an amp, but I see no reason for most of the other cables I have, and why they lead to where they do.

It could be some radio equipment, could be part of the old car phone set ups, could be anything. Show us some pics.
