I have 95 2dr 4wd 4.0 xj. I only paid 500 for it and trying to get it up to par. The only thing stopping me is my lights. When i use the right turn signal everything in the rear flashes except the left signal, everything up front is fine. Also associated to that issue when i apply the brakes everything in the rear lights up solid. Can anyone help?

Attempts so far....
1. Replaced the turn signal switch in steering column.
2. Checked all bulbs and connects at the lights.

 

Sounds like you probably have a bad ground. Not sure where the tail lights are grounded but you could ID one of the grounds (at a socket) and ground that to the frame. It'll probably ground the rest of the circuit too.
