Exclamation HELP PLEASE, with diff repair.

Im at this point...except mine does not look like what is in the picture.
In the pic is what I thought I would have. A ¼" 12-point lock bolt that holds the axles and C-Clips in place.
Like whats shown in the picture....but all mine has is what appears to be a hole for some sort of hex key/allen wrench....but ive tried all of my allen wrenches with no luck...they are either a tad too big, or too small...obviously I dont want to strip it, otherwise im F***ed!

PLEASE HELP!
Does anyone else have this sort of "diff lock bolt"???

According to the install manual that came with my locker (powertrax) the diff could either have the 1/4 inch bolt, or simply a roll pin.

my d30 had a punch pin, did not think it would come out untill it did. on my 00 wj the head broke off the bolt and I had to dig the rest of the pin out. Maybe just a heads up for you

Trac lock is a Limited Slip Diff

I dont think there were any factory trac lock dana 30s but there is a aftermarket true track LSD for a Dana 30

Yours is probably just an open carrier

just checked it out online. You have to punch the pin out from the ring gear side. there is a pretty good discussion on it with a bunch of pictures here:http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1017681

If is a roll pin (punch pin) you half to use a pin punch to get it out ....DONT use a drill bit or nail use the right size pin punch

use a long pin punch from the opposite side as the picture you took (behind the ring gear) and knock it out
