Default help with parts ID

help I am trying to figure out what this is (silver cylinder under dash next to relay box) see pics my other question is the blower control switch went bad and burned up the plug any source of the plug I took 3 dashes apart today at the junk yard (all the had) and every plug was burned

That looks like a capacitor, I included a photo of one that might be similar in appearance.

Pull the relay and then start turning stuff on. See what doesn't work and that's what the relays for.

I answered on the other forum too, but just in case people are checking out this thread... I am pretty sure that controls the delay for the green halo light around your ignition cylinder... the one that stays lit up for a few seconds after you open the door, so you can see where to put the key. When I first got my 96 a couple of years ago, I was tracing wires like crazy, trying to solve a different issue, and if memory serves, that thing is for that light.
