HELP!!! Oil Pressure Problem at idle

I run 10w40 high-mileage in mine, just above the 1/4th line at idle when warm and over 40psi on the highway. Right where it should be. 
10w30 was about the same, but much noisier due to my worn lifters.
You do not want to put really thick oil in, especially if you are about spec on pressure (which it sounds like you are).
