Did you hear the engine run from the donor Jeep after it sat in the mudhole for a while?

And before you transplanted it?

the motor ran fine before the mud hole. when he left it ther over night and came back the next day to get it out it would not crank. i changed the crankshaft sensor, oil sending unit, sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, oil filter, and oil last night and nothing changed.

The problem happened in the mud hole, I think. You say it "would not crank". To me , that means it will not spin/turn over at all. Or do you mean "it will not fire off?"

Its hard to decide if the problem is electrical or mechanical.

Do you think it got hydrolocked? Have you pulled the plugs out (again) and cranked it to see if any water/mud blows out of the cylinders?

An engine needs 4 things to run:
fuel
air
spark
timing

some people also add compression to make 5.

If one of those is missing or weak, its not gonna run.

Test the compression (wet) on all cylinders.

ok i checked compression last night and every cylinder has 90 or above. the timing is dead on what it is suppose to be. I have fire to all plugs.and when i pull the plugs out they have gas on them and starting fluid does nothing at all if you spray the throttle body. when you turn the motor over it acts like it wants to crank up and run but it wont. i have checked all grounds and plugs so i dont know guys im lost

90 is too low. Think you found your problem. Should be 110 minimum IIRC.
