I have a 92 same issue. No cruise control, checked vacuum lines and they are fine. Next step will be getting a voltometer and checking wires

To check the wires you need a voltometer. Or a test light.

IZ late....Just sayen, (repeating). There is a large vac line rear of the TB that goes back, and across the firewall, then down to the ball behind the right front bumper. (I bet your heater vents are out too). There is a "y" on that line near the canister that goes to the T-case and ultimately the disco and 4WD light. From the ball a small tube comes back up for your cruze and heater controls. I'd check for vacuum at the ball, it's line, the ball, then check the small line back. I don't have cruse, my small line just goes into the heater controls.

It's not unusual there is a problem with the ball. Lines off, it's just gone or broken....Best of luck!

Not to stray off topic, but did some XJ's not come with cruise control?

Ya'll are saying you checked the hoses. But did you check the vac ball behind the bumper?

Worth repeating.

Does anyone have a working cruise control that would like to help us out with the electrical stuff, I've seen a lot of cruise control doesn't work threads and most either don't get anywhere or it's a vac leak that fixed the problem.
Yes I have checked vac and fuse both ate good.
