Default help me please

i have a jeep cherokee classic 1998 inline6 4.0L i went mudding the other day and it stalled out so i go to start it back up wouldnt turn over so i checked the air filter soaking wet so i took it off let it dry for 10 mins and drove it away. so i dryed my air filter completely and ever since then ive been having this problem. i turn it on idles a little low but i give it gas and then it will stall out. ok so i checked the distrubtor it was junk bought a new one. After that it still did the same problem so i dont know were my next step is all my spark plugs are fine and wiring to the distributor is fine too. but now im stuck and need help thank you guys for helping me out i just want to get my baby running like normal.

Here's what I would do: have your buddy clear the codes, then see which ones come back. That way, we're not chasing old/irrelevant codes.

Do as belvedere suggested. It will save you alot of time and money.I bet its not an ignition issue .. more likely a fuel or air intake issue.
