I am currently getting ~ 16MPG on average, (mostly city driving), and can get ~18 with highway. Only upgrade I have is CAI, and Re did the stock Exhaust.

Honestly the only thing I would change (other than going bigger) Is I wish I did a long arm rather than the short arm kit, but at the time money was the factor.

Hope that helps with any decision
so you just got the kit and installed it and everything was good? or did you have to buy a new adjustable track bar and SYE also or anything else? thanks

I have the same question With the 4.5" kit you didn't need anything extra? No sye or a adjustable track bar? I just got the 4.5" RC kit and i will be putting it on my trail rig soon. Also i bought it fron Iron Rock for 458.00 shipped w/AAL. In the future i will go full packs but money was tight.

about 2 weeks ago now i put on a 4.5 inch kit from rough country with full packs and i couldnt be happier! you will not need a slip yoke eliminator(sye) the kit comes with a transfer case drop. i get no vibes at all and i was on the freeway going 75+ today. i have a gps so i dont even look at the instrument cluster anymore. so i know my speed was correct. i have 33's and i havent really seen a big differnce on my mpg until i get on the freeway. with a 3 or a 4.5 inch kit just run 31's and you'll be perfect! i like that look more anyways. also you dont need an adjustable track bar. my axle is shifted to the driver side about an inch and a half thats all the adj track bar would take care of but after a front end alignment it tracks perfect! whatever you do, get shocks, and get new rear packs!!!

hmm alright cool, i really do wanna get a 4.5 lift, and by packs you mean the kit with rear springs or the add a leafs? i see the kit on RC and the kit with rear springs is 655, so after the kits installed i just need to get a front end alignment to get the camber fixed and stuff and it should most likely be set? i plan on running some nice 31s with some pretty aggressive tread....thanks a bunch.

If you decide to go 4.5 Rough Country with full packs, call them direct and ask for Jason. He helps on price for a lot of the forum guys. I got mine last year, late August for $650.00 total with shipping included...

I just picked up a Zone Offroad 3" lift with a TC drop. Up here in Canada it is a lot more expensive than you guys can get it. Down there you can get it for under $300. That is for coils, AAL, Shocks, U-bolts, TC drop and all the other nuts and bolts. I contemplated on this or the Rubi Express which is alot more money and a way better kit...but for my needs, which are light weekend offroading, daily driver, using it for work, I didn't want to drop alot of money on a lift, so the Zone lift will work well for me. I am putting it in on Monday.

I have a 3" lift with 31's. And all I have to say, is I wish I had the 4.5" long arm with full leaf packs. My rear springs are now sagged (only 20,000 KMS since the lift was installed) to the point of if I hit a bump, my tires hit my fender flares. Since money is tight right now, I am just going to replaced the rear springs. But as soon as possible, definitely going to a 4.5" long arm kit.

It came with some transmission spacers, lowered the trans 1" and made the angle good. Its recommended to do an SYE for anything over 4.5" lift.

I love my kit, Now I just want to go bigger.
