Ok I've got my flame suit on for this one. I'm a newb to Jeeps and I have a line on some rear ends complete and I've looked at every picture I can find on the Internet and I can't come to a complete conclusion. What rear end is this:

 

looks like the Chrysler 8.25. the newer xjs came with the 8.25

That flat bottom, the ears you can see below the diff cover are dead giveaways.
