Quote: Well I can't find a vacuum leak to save my life. BUT I remembered a detail that I realized I didn't include in the original post. When the jeep died (both times) the engine quit but all the electrical stayed on and when trying to start it up it wouldn't even crank. So does that point more in the direction of CPS or something else?
Hmmm. Battery cables and/or grounds?

That's where I would start just so you know you're not missing a basic item on the list...and like in BlueRidge's sig..... don't LOOK at them...take them off, clean, and reinstall so you KNOW your grounds are solid.

Yeah, mine would do weird **** [stuff] like that before I replaced my battery clamps and wires. I thought it was possessed for a while.

Alright I will go clean those up. I was wanting to do a main wiring upgrade anyway and start fixing the nightmare of accessory cables the previous owner installed.
