POWER STEERING PROBLEM FROM HELL!... ok i bought a fix it urself book from autozone and ive done all steps correctly!! all my lines are clean and no ware(that i know of)... ive bleed the system the best i could. is there any kind of better bleeding procedures?! ive spent more money on this problem then any other problem on my cherokee...
im confused on what to do now

could it be my power steering pump? and how do i go about checking that cuz just replacing it is 100$ out of my way!
in the morning it makes a loud noise creating the bubbles.
BUT once hot the bubbles go away and there is no noise... im so confused on whats going on with my jeep!!

You might wanna try to describe your problem a little better. Tell everyone what it's doing in great detail. You should also include at least the year of your xj.

That being said check the fluid make sure it is at the proper level. You may also want to change it, which can be done most of the way by sucking all the fluid you can out of the ps tank and putting in new stuff. Really old fluid can break down and cause probs. And lastly if your pump is shot you can get one cheap at a junk yard, its not hard to replace.

IVE REPLACED THE POWER STEERING FLUID IN THE RESIVOIR WELL OVER A DOZEN TIMES IN THE PAST WEEK ALL BEING CAREFUL AND MAKING SURE NO DEBRIS GETS IN... ITS A 90' 6CYL 4X4... WOULD IT BE A BIG RISK GETTING A NEW PUMP FROM THE JUNK YARD?!?

I do it all the time....There cheap enough that its not a huge waste if one doesn;t work so well. I can get one at the pull a part for 18$ Worth a shot.

Try one from a yard, see if it makes a difference.

Please turn the CAPS LOCK off, it's kinda like shouting and tough on the eyes.
