HELP Good battery, no power
I own a 1993 Jeep Cherokee. About one week ago, I began experiencing problems starting my Jeep. When first turning the key I would get a click, but during the process of turning the key, I would lose all power to the vehicle. No lights, no engine power. Brand new battery. Later that day, my father and I checked the fuses, resistor, and cables, but everything was good. For grins, we tried starting it, and it fired right up, after recharging it of course. Read 12.6 volts, which it stayed at for about three days, where in it continually started. Yesterday evening, tried starting it and got an initial click, but then no power again. No lights inside or out. Battery still reads 12.6 volts with no power to anything including lights, power windows, and locks. Any ideas? I'm at a loss, and really need to get my Jeep going again. Thanks for any suggestions.

Get underneath with a socket and try adjusting the NNS, it's probably a lil out of whack...
Both of mine need adjustment constantly (Its too cold to take them off and rebuild them.), and with the key to "ON" you should actually hear the starting circuit energize when it get to the right spot...

there has to be power somewhere. is the ground terminal tight? is the pos terminal tight? is the terminal on the starter tight? are you getting voltage at the starter?
We plan on gettin up under it to check the starter. Any ideas on why I wouldn't get any electrical power to anything? Is there a circuit breaker or something else that would cause all power to be lost?
Ignition switch - the electrical bit.
The START circuit disables pretty much everything except the starter motor, ignition, and fuel injection systems until the engine catches and you let the key back into RUN.
I've had similar problems before, and they've just about always come back to the ignition switch (since yours is 15 years old, it's about due. The 1993, I believe, still used the GM column with a ChryCo key, so the part should also be fairly cheap. The START circuit is a high-amp load, and the contacts tend to burn for that circuit first.)
Good luck!

Another thing other then the previous suggestions is the battery may still be bad. I have had a similar problem. A new battery was in the rig, but sometimes it wouldn't start. It had a bad cell or a broken plate that would sometimes be working and sometimes it wouldn't so it was a nightmare to diagnose. Under a load the battery would drop voltage but go back up as soon as you let the key off. Have someone stand at the battery with a volt meeter and you turn the key to check voltage. Just a thought.
im experience the same problem..I went to start my jeep one day and all I got was 1 click now nothing. I put a battery charger on it, it read full..tried to start it...it wouldnt even turn over, couldnt get the stereo on or anything

then check the pos at the starter..
