so my g/f has a 93 xj 2door sport. Last night see went to close the passenger door and it feel off, the top hinge rusted right off the body and the bottom snapped were the two meet. I figured for the top id weld it back in then throw some bolt through it, but whats gonna be best for the bottom? i was thinking just cut the bottom tab off that one and off a different set then bolt it to the door. is that the best way and can i buy replacement hinges or do i have to go jy searching?
lol id love to but she isnt in to that for hers, see thinks im crazy for wanting to do that for mine

TO EACH THEIR OWN, but please keep your doors on when you get it fixed. It's an XJ, not a wrangler. Doorless on an XJ is pretty stupid IMO.

Edit:
Sorry for the thread jack. I'd probably go to the junk yard or maybe search online for some different hinges.

Why are you gonna try to weld the one that rusted through? Need to put some new metal in there.
