help with gear pattern

Your pattern doesnt look consistent.. are you putting a load on the ring gear as you rotate for pattern?
Take a piece of wood, drop it in wedged between housing and outside of ring gear and guesstimate roughly 40lb resistance on it.
Grease is harder to read a pattern.. NAPA should have some yellow gear compound.
