HELP-fill tube in 242 case

HELP-fill tube in 242 case
OK, what happened, I was refilling the transfer case (2000-242 selecttrack) and the plastic fill tube I was using came off and went in the case. about 4 in. long soft plastic. no luck on fishing it out.
Do I have to have a dealer split the case, or will it just grind up and drain the case again and again untill all pieces are out?
Help!

If you cant get it out you'll need to split the case.
Left in any material that grinds will get into bearings, the fluid pump, and coat the screen eliminating fluid flow. Eventually you'll need a complete rebuild.
Anywhere near Philly? I do side work out of the garage.. done many transfercases. PM if i can be of assistance.
