Default help with cooling system cause i havent a clue to what im doing

i have an 89 cherokee with the 4.0 6 cylinder, i am thinking about replacing ym cooling system with a non pressurized one, because i am have a porblem where my coolent leaks out from the bottle at about 200 to 210 degrees. i also am thinkng about getting a new thermostat, rad, gaskets, and water pump. my question is, the two hoses that lead in to the fire wall come from the pump and split to the coolent bottle if i were to void the split to the bottle so they lead directly into the firewall, and hook the collent bottle directly to the radiator would that work?

I'm pretty sure that if you get a heater control valve from a newer jeep it would make things easier

How does that work? Does it help cool it down if you have a newer one?

Mine gets annoying fluxuating from 165 - 210 than back down all day long... and in drive throughs mine seems to get real hot even with the fan on

well thats what i was getting at with my idea of getting a non pressurized system. because it doesnt overheat, it just builds up too much pressure and the coolent bottle leaks...

Replace the coolant bottle with a tank and never look back. That is what I did. The closed system works if it is kept up.

The heater core hoses go to the thermostat housing and one to the water pump.
