My 91 Cherokee is missing all the ac parts in the engine bay... I was wondering if I could take the ac system out of a newer Cherokee and install it in mine..

 

The newest cherokee is at least 16 years old. Most likely many of the parts you'd get from it would be on their last legs. You're better off just springing for new parts. There's also no way for you to know the condition of the evaporator under the dash so you'll most likely need to pull that first. I just did my entire system for under $500 so if you really want air thats the way to do it.

 

Most likely I'll be replacing everything with new parts. I looked at Rock auto but they only show two ac lines
