Default Help.

So im looking at a 88 Commanche and might trade my 96 cherokee for it. but He said the rear seal on the engine is bad, but it still drives good. i dont quite know what rear seal hes talking about, but is it hard to replace.

I take it id have to disconnect the motor and trans to fix

im pretty sure that would be the rear main seal?....that is where its located in that area...if im not mistaken...but if it is that its not hard to fix

If it's a manual shift it could also be the front tranny seal.
