Ive been having problems with my xj and it happens when i stop but my gas gauge goes below empty and the light comes on and then sputters and sometime stalls out. (happens with half a tank of gas) does this sound like a bad ground? and i took it to a mechanic and he said he didnt know what was causeing it. i think he was full of it
