Default Help!

So, I was headed to the JY this morning and the heep started trying to overheat so I brought it back to the house and decided to flush the radiator and drop a new Tsat in it. After pulling the tstat housing off I discovered a mess in my head. My question is, is there anything besides the flush I am about to do and rebuilding the motor to clean this? See pics below. (yes, I know I have oil EVERYWHERE!)

Thanks bones. I am in the process of swapping the header panel and when I am done with that I am going to flush it again and hopefully it will get better.
