Default HELP!!!

soooo my back drum brake leaks a decent bit, not enough to cause a real problem but enough i need to fix it. so i jacked it up, took my wheel off and the drum is rusted on to the hub/studs... is there any way to get this to pop loose? or cut it off or something? i smacked it a few good times with the BFH.

I have found that spraying around the hub and studs with some penetrating oil like PB Blaster usually does the trick, I've had to heat a drum once or twice too, just hot to break the bond, not cherry red. I usually strike the face of the drum a few times, between the studs (put lug nuts on loosely if you're afraid of hitting a stud) and with some oil, muscle, and patience, the drum will usually pop loose. I have beaten drums to the point of requiring replacement but not very often. Lube and heat are your friends. Good luck.
