That's a little high, but as long as it was well maintained and tuned up, it should still have another 100k on it. If not, it might need a rebuild soon. Also with high mileage vehicles, everything else is worn out from heavy use too, so check for rust, check the wheel bearings, all the fluids, etc.. If the price is right, like no more than 2k, go for it.

Well, it is sorta like looking at divorced women for a relationship.
First you have to figure out how hard it has been treated and how much life it has left,
Then you have to take looks into consideration, is it good enough looking to be seen with it, and if you have to do any reconditioning to body or finish to make it real good looking.
Then you have to consider whether or not it is any good in the quick rides or the long hauls, will it perform all the required functions and perform well even over rough terrain.
As with any previously owned, you have to undo the mistakes of the previous owners, bring the maintenance up to speed, and of course it will need polishing.
So long story short, your going to have to figure out the current condition and cost of the unit, then what it will take to bring it up to your standards, and then continuing costs of maintaining and upgrading and if it is worth it to you or not.
Good luck
