I have a 97 Cherokee 4.0l with an aw4 automatic. I went to pull out of a parking lot and it died. No stutter no hesitation just died. I have fuel, spark, and air. So far I've replaced the crank positioning sensor, distributor cap, and rotor. Still nothing.. Anyone have any ideas?? All help is appreciated.

 

My 97 would not start. Changed the CPS, tried to start.

Changed the cam sensor in the distributor, started good.

 

Update!!! When the motor turns over it has a strange lope... Kinda hard to describe but it sounds like wha da da da da da wha da da da da da

 

please describe how you are checking for fuel and spark
