Help!!!

Can anyone please tell me what this is??? I touched the small hose and it just broke off.

Right above the oil dip stick

Vac line? Is idle higher? Does the air blow out of proper vents even under throttle?

Heater control valve! Thanks. I guess I have to replace the entire thing or do you think I can just replace the small hose that contects to it?

If the nipple on the valve is fine, all you need is a couple inches of vacuum hose. Peel off what is left of the rubber elbow on the line then connect the two.
