Did you run the Hellas to come on with your parking lights?

I couldnt say then. Have you checked the wiring to your running lights for proper ground and what not.

Did you tap or splice into any other wires at all for your Hella switches or relays?

I know you said you ran separate wires, but where did you get the signal for the light on the switch? Also, the switched signal has to come from somewhere...did you simply use an ignition hot or did you tap into the high beam as shown with the instructions?

Are your grounds running to the chassis, body, or did you tie into an existing ground wire?

You said you removed the wiring from the Hellas...did you also disconnect the wiring from the switch and relay as well?

move the + for the hellas directly to the 12v + of your battery, that is how my instructions say to wire the + side of mine with a relay.

worth a try.

it sounds like the headlight switch itself decided to go out, but it's odd that it happened now.

try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and reconnecting it, maybe some relay is stuck or something.

Check headlight switch and if you spliced or tapped in to any wires for ground or power you could have accidently caused a ground loop that bypasses the switch...

do you have a remote starter, or aftermarket alarm? they can sometimes do this if somthing has messed with their setup..grounds, hood switch, etc..
