there is a big rubber grommet on the drivers side by the brake booster to run the wires, and for the switch i just drilled a hole in my kick panel on the drivers side just out of the way of my knees, you can also use the panels by the rear window wiper for a mounting spot, but i ended up making a panel that velcro's over the e brake handle that dont work anyways, ive seen alot of pics of guys that put the switches by the gear shifter

+1 on the grommet. I put a slice in the grommet, took a bic pen and nipped both ends(hollow tube) and pushed it through the slice. What that did was make a super easy passage for my Hella wires. I just pulled the tube after I was done and voila! Hope this helps!

The empty bic is a great idea for threading wires - now why did I never think of that?
