Here's the lowdown!
Working on a 97 Cherokee that had a bad heater core. I got it all replaced (copper and brass) from the parts store. Found out there was a leak in one of the tubes and have to r&r the whole thing again. Trust me not nice words were said! The one that I got was a one off copper and brass model that can't be warrantied out from the store again. All that they can get are the all aluminum models. Not real happy about it but it is what it is. I was wondering if there are any "cheater" upgrades to increase the heat from the aluminum model. At least something to give equivalent heat in the cab? Thanks for any and all input

Flush your system. I don't know about anyone else but my 92 with the stock system gives off plenty of heat. I even have to turn my heater down on long drives because I get hot.

Update:
Put the other new one in which was the all aluminum construction. Supposedly they don't heat as well. I can tell you this they hear just as well if not better. After the install the heat is super hot. Trust me I have three Cherokees and this one now heats the absolute best. Don't be afraid of the aluminum ones they are just fine!
