Default Heater Problems

Soo I my heater always worked great... then I got a leak out of my AC Lifter.. Idk what its called... but its a black cylinder with a silver lifter on the top... and is connected to like 3 lines in the back part of the engine bay? does anyone understand what im saying? :P if not ill get a pic.

its located in the yellow it has 3 lines going to it... all coolant lines not my cherokee i have a 95 dont know if it matters

Heater Control Valve?



And yes, the year does matter. I think they eliminated the HCV after 96; not sure though. But Im 99.9% sure your 95 has a HCV

Yea thanks for the replies guys and i fixed it just direct ran the hoses works great! easy fix

Ran the hoses directly? Does your heater still work, can you control it with the heater controls?

Eliminated mine last yr. Heat and a/c work as they should. Make sure the blend door is adjusted correctly.
