Default Heater problem

2000 XJ Sport 6cyl. Heat and ac would only blow on highest setting. So this is a blower resistor issue as I understand. This never bothered me, I used the ac/heat/defrost on highest setting or not at all BUT NOW there is no air moving. A few days ago this happened....no air moving (hot or cold, highest or lowest setting). After a while I got back in the Jeep and the heat was working again (but only on highest setting). It worked for a few days but stopped working again.

Is this the resistor ?
Blend door?
Blower motor?
Something else?

I can feel the air at the vent being heated or cooled but it's not blowing through.

Could be several things.

Check that there's power at the blower motor.

Started car up and heater is working (only on full). I know changing the resistor will give me the high med low settings back but I'm not concerned with that. I'm worried that something is failig. Any advice? Possibly a short? Blower ovrheating?

Car running, heater turned on(but not blowing), popped hood, tapped on blower motor........it starts blowing. Time to replace blower motor I'm assuming. Thankfully an inexpensive DIY "bolt on" job
