Heater issues
OK so i have an 2001 and the heater and the air conditioner do not blow through the main vents, just little ones on top of the side vents and defroster vents. still gets plenty hot and plenty cold and blows fine otherwise. it feels like the air is just blowing behind the dash any thoughts? thanks in advance for any help.

If I remember correctly the switch or whatever that controls the vents may be stuck or working improperly. Hopefully somebody else who knows more will chime in.

Sorry, i'm not sure on the 2000-01 you two are asking about, but on my old '93 the vents are vacuum controlled. Pull off the front of the control panel and check for a damaged or loose hose on the switch. I know if it's a vacuum leak, the vents default to the defrost position. If they went to electronic controls then I don't know. Hope that helps.
