Unhappy Heater control swap

I wasn't sure if this should go in OEM or Modified but i figured I'd try here. I bought 'my 95 xj without the dash heater controls, there was just a toggle switch on some random wires. The original plug for the heater is no longer on the jeep. I have a 98 xj for parts and i was wondering if i could take the heater controls out of the 98 with both ends of the plugs and wire it into my 95. I will make it fit, i just need to know whether or not it can be done electrically. Thanks!
