Default heater coil flush

im needing to flush my heater coil out, and as we speak, too cold to get those hose out, and i dont have access to air. Is there anything else i can do to flush the coil out without the air and water hose?
Also ive seen and heard people use cdl to put in the coil, how much of this do i need to mix with water?
thanks

Lol is that like magic or something? The only ways I know of are water/air. Or take it to a shop? For like 20 bucks they'll do it

I presume u r referring to CLR? From the CLR website....do not use in a radiator....a heater core is basically made out of the same materials as a radiator.

You're gonna have to use water, man. That's what I did. If you have a spare soft garden hose you don't mind cutting and a nozzle, you can make things easier. Attach your sacrificial hose to your nozzle, cut off some length and slide the hose on to your heater core outlet. Turn water on and watch the nasty stuff start coming out.

Your choice, work in the cold, or drive in the cold.
