Heat stays hot when I want cool air
'01 Cherokee Classic..recently replaced radiator cap due to no heat. Now have too much heat. Any suggestions on where to look for a solution? I also found bad vacuum hose to the black ball on the bumper. Replace a length of hose. TIA.

If you've already fixed the vacuum leak, check to be sure the blend door is moving through a full 90° arc when the selector is moved from full hot to full cold. You should be able to see the end of blend door shaft from underneath the heater box.
