I have a 1996 auto 4x4 she usually runs fine unless im sitting in traffic for to long ill hear it start to struggle and shakes I give it gas and she runs it out. Now when I turn it off after that start it back up it starts to miss fire... bad! I have been able to poor water over injectors to cool and usually works. Any ideas on what I should do?

my buddy has a 2001 and when he swap motors he didnt put the heat wrap back on the injectors and rail and it did the same thing. he got some type of heat wrap for it and zip tied it and hasnt had a problem since with it.

I was dead on the top of Blanca peak trail in CO with heatsoak for a good 40 minutes.. Hood vents have prevented mine from doing it since but I will be investing in heatwrap as well.

Haha dang that blows ive been stuck out in the woods with it. Im getting some heat wrap tonight thanks
