Hi! not sure if this is the right forum for this, so excuse me if it is not.

I have a '93 cherokee, totally stock. The headliner came off and was destroyed. I now have no headliner at all, just bare metal. I am unable to find another headliner; all I can find are headliner kits with the fabric. I need the actual shell or base to put the fabric on. (I have fabric for this, just nothing to put it on)

I am wondering how I can get a new shell, or make one? I am not even sure what to make one out of. I am limited on money so spending $200 is out of the question, any ideas? oh and btw, the search function is just taking me straight to ebay....kinda confused about that.

Junk yard. I had this same problem on my jeep and I went to a jy and took one out of a 92 Cherokee( the best headliner I could find), then cut the holes where I needed them to hook up my command center. The cost? $30

 

omgosh I had not even thought of that! sheesh I need to reformat my mind! lol

Lol no prob. Just be careful driving it back home. I had a friend go with me and we put it onto of our head because you couldn't install it in the parking lot( prob for theft reasons) so we drove a couple miles with this ceiling on our head and no rear view. We got so many looks lol
