Default Headlights won't turn on, unless my high beam switch is compressed.

As stated, my headlights were working fine. Shut my vehicle off, then when I started it the next evening, headlights wouldn't turn on. My amber lights would, just not the headlights themselves. All other turn signals, tail lights etc. Work fine, just not the headlights. If I squeeze my dimmer/high beam switch, the headlights turn on with the high beams, soon as I let go, all headlights turn off.

I am guessing it's in the dimmer switch, but not sure. There was no flickering or anything leading up to it. Just all of a sudden this happened. Suggestions? Thanks.

Check for power and ground at the headlight connector. Sounds like ground should be OK since high beams work. Make sure connector and contacts on the headlights are clean. Naturally, check the bulbs too. The beam select switch wires connect to the left headlight and then run to the right.

Sounds more like the switch to me, as the headlight flash function works OK.

Headlight switch failure is very common. Consider installing a headlight upgrade harness that takes the load off the switch and undersized wiring.
