Default Headlights stuck on high beam

2001 Cherokee Sport.

The turn signal/high/low selector lever moves from high to low beam and clicks into place but the lights stay on high beam and the high beam indicator on the dash stays lit.

Any idea where to look?

Thanks

Multifunction switch probably bad. Not sure if it could be lubed or something. May be sticking.

Is your jeep by chance from Canada? Mine was, and the Daytime running light module (required by the Canadian DOT) was bad. I had the same problem with the high beams and dash light staying on. Just had to unplug the module. Problem solved. Don't know about your year jeep but on mine the module was up near the firewall on the passenger side.

Thanks for the responses. It just needed a new multifunction switch. $48 to NAPA and an hour of garage time and she's good to go. On to the next issue.

Thanks
