Headlights premanently on?!

Headlights premanently on?!
Hello all!
I' replaced my headlight switch a few months ago (+-6mnths ago). Last week the lights came on and refused to turn off!
I can even switch the ignition off and remove the key - still the lights stay on.
I figure there must be a short somewhere but does anyone know where it may be? Any common short spots?
