Headlights dont work...

Headlights dont work...
but all the other lights work, however if I hold the brights in the on position they work. It just happened about 30 minutes ago on my way home. It's not the battery, and not the lights. I'm puzzled. Any ideas?

I dont believe I have day time running lowbeams. But I dont know what those are 
....To me lights are lights. I'll check the fuse when I can.
