headlight question?

headlight question?
Ok this may be normal but if I turn the ignition off before I switch my headlights off my headlights stay on? Its a 98 xj. I haven't waited to see if they go off on their own or not. I know if I turn the key back on the lights immediately turn off. Anyone have any info?

It's a security feature in the Ltd.
If you turn your lights off BEFORE you turn off your ignition, they'll shut off. If you turn your ignition off first, your DRL will stay on for a max of 3 minutes.
